Scout uses cloud storage only, no SD card needed. To access all features, including AI-powered behavior tracking and smart recaps, you'll need a subscription to our Video Cloud AI service. What happens if I don’t subscribe - can I still view live footage?

Yes, but features will be limited. Without a subscription, you’ll still have access to live streaming, auto pet tracking, and AI assistant, Tobi™. But you won’t get video storage or behavior alerts. We recommend subscribing to Video Cloud AI to unlock the full experience. All plans includ a 7-day free trial and a 30-day hassle-free cancellation policy with annual subscriptions.

Is my data and privacy safe when using Scout?

Do I need a separate subscription for each camera?

Does Video Cloud AI work with my Granary Smart Camera Feeder?

Sorry, Video Cloud AI is only compatible with the Scout Smart Camera. It’s not supported on the Granary Smart Camera Feeder at this time.

What happens if I change phones or lose access to the app?

No need to worry. Your Video Cloud AI subscription is linked to your Petlibro app account, not your phone. As long as you log in with the same account on a new device, your subscription and cloud recordings will still be there.

Do I need strong Wi-Fi for Scout to work properly?

Yes. A strong, stable Wi-Fi connection is key. Scout needs it to upload video smoothly and for Video Cloud AI to accurately recognize and analyze your pets' behaviors. Weak or spotty Wi-Fi can lead to lag, missed events, or less accurate insights.
